The reca Group consisting of 31 companies which operate internationally were confronted with totally different economic preconditions in the year of 2010. Analogous to German economy, business in a lot of Western and Eastern European countries developed fast and strongly from the 2^nd quarter on; customers in the craft and industry divisions benefited from well-filled order books.

The situation in Southern Europe was different: Almost all market sectors suffered again from economic problems. However and with common efforts, we were able to reverse the negative trends of 2009 and generated growth again - even on a quite restrained level.

The number of sales reps has been increased by 208 persons to a level of 2,724 sales representatives and 823 internal colleagues. This team was able to realise an annual turnover amounting to 427 million € and at the same time, the number of active customers has gone up to nearly 297,000.
